Mera Pets Ltd (“Mera”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data collected through merapets.com. We cook for pets, and we treat your data with the same care we treat our ingredients.
What we collect
When you build a plan or place an order, we collect the details required to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address, and payment information (processed by our payment provider, never stored by us). To portion a plan we also ask for your pet’s species, breed, weight, age and health goals.
How we use it
- To prepare, portion and deliver your order.
- To manage your subscription, payments and delivery schedule.
- To send service messages about your plan, and — only where you opt in — occasional recipes and offers.
- To improve our recipes and service, in aggregate and never at an identifiable level.
Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you, to meet our legal obligations (such as records for tax), and, for marketing, on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Sharing
We share data only with the processors necessary to run the service — payment, delivery, email, and hosting providers — each under a data-processing agreement. We never sell personal data.
Retention
Order and subscription data is kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
